I and  my husband are travel lovers. We love to explore different places. For the past two years we dint go for a trip because of his work load. Finally he changed into new project and now we get some time to spend for each other. His birthday is on coming week. I want to gift him something he likes more. Since he loves travelling, I planned to use the Skyscanner 1 Lakh credit points to arrange a Surprise trip for him. Long back he told me, he would love to visit SINGAPORE. As his wish, I chose this place for the trip. 


Singapore is the beautiful place with many attractions. I am planning this trip for 5 days. The purpose of this trip is to feel, enjoy and mingle with the Nature beauty. So I picked these 5  places.

Singapore Zoo :  Singapore zoo is the world best Rain Forest zoo. It has been known to have among the most beautiful setting in the world, where animals can roam freely outside and Natural habitat. In many Zoo, they wont allow us to close near to the animals. But here, they created unique open zoo settings with lots of fun filled activities like  face to face with animals, Elephant riding etc., This will be the first place in our trip.

River Safari : River Safari is the Asia's first and only  river themed  wildlife zoo and aquarium. We love boat riding and exploring the nature & variety of wildlife. Then how can we miss this one in our trip? Its double treat for us.

Gardens by the Bay: Gardens by the Bay is one of the top 10 Indoor gardens of the world. This place is to explore the diverse plant life around the world displayed in its spectacular cooled conservatories. We would love to inspire and admire by its Nature.  

Sentosa Island: Sentosa Island offers something for everyone. It has lots of attractions and activities. For Thrill seekers can take a ride on Skyline Luge Sentosa, Nature lovers can explore the walking trails and wonders of Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom or learn about flora and fauna on a guided tour of Sentosa Nature Discovery. We would love to experience all :)

Universal studios Singapore: Universal studios Singapore is the south east Asia's only universal theme park. It has many rides and adventures. We would like to experience all the adventures like crate adventure, Revenge of the mummy and Jurassic Adventure and many more..

Alright! I finalized the destination, Now I have to plan how to reach there and where to stay?This is my first experience with Skyscanner. With lots of curiosity I logged  into the Skyscanner.co.in website. In the main page, I saw four tabs on the top Flights, Hotels, Car hire and Buses.  It helped me to find the best deals for flights, hotels and car hire.

Booking Flight Tickets :

I clicked on the Flights tab and chose the From (MAA) and To place (SIN). Then i clicked on the Return trip option and gave the depart and return date. Then i chose 2 Adults, Economy class and then i clicked search.  It redirected me to the next page.

There I could see the list of best deals of flights. I thought to book ticket in Direct stop flight with reasonable cost. I love the price camparing method. It made my work very simple and easy.  I chose the Jet Airways flight and clicked on select option.




In the next screen, it showed the prices for 2 tickets, timings for both departure and return flight and most imporatntly it showed the option best deals hotels and car hire in Singapore. I booked the flight tickets and chose the hotel option.






Booking Hotel:

Once I chose the best deals hotel in singapore, it redirected to the list of hotels window. There i saw tons of hotel deals. I chose the top rating preferences.



I chose Naumi Liara Hotel after I go through some hotel reviews. The interior view of the hotel looks neat and nice. I found the best deal in this hotel. So, I clicked on the view deal and booked the hotel. I am extremely happy about the hotel booking because I saved around 19K :)





Booking Rental Car:

I clicked on the car hire option. It automatically showed the pick up & drop off area and duration. I chose my preference in the filtered option and selected the Intermediate class of car. It retrived the results of car with a second. I booked Toyoto Altis for the trip.






I booked the flight tickets, Hotel and rental car with in an hour with the help of Skyscanner. Its user friendly website. I got the best deal in all 3 bookings. Do you know how much i saved from the Skyscanner 1 Lakh credit?

                                                32,915 + 27,142 + 21,858.39 = 81,915.39

                                                       1,00,000 - 81,915.39 = 18,084.61

That means I saved 18,084.61 Rs in this trip. I can use this amount for Shopping, Food, Spa etc., :)  I am sure my husband gonna love this surprise trip and he must be happy about the Deals.  Thanks you Skyscanner for the timely help and wonderful deals.
