Pepper Chicken Gravy
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg of chicken
- 2 small bay leaf
- 1 tsp whole garam masala
- 2 chopped onion
- 1 chopped tomato
- 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp of chilli powder
- 1 tbsp of ground pepper
- 1 tsp of cumin seed powder
- 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- Cilantro for garnishing
Method:
- Wash the chicken with turmeric powder, set aside.
- Heat oil in pan. Add bay leaf and whole garam spices.
- Add onion, saute till it turn to brown colour.
- Add ginger garlic paste, saute for few minutes. Add tomato, fry until it becomes soft.
- Add chicken,chilli powder, cumin seed, half cup of water and salt. Mix and cook for 5 minutes over medium flame.
- Now add the ground pepper, close the lid and cook until the chicken cooked well.
- Finally, garnish it with cilantro. Serve with any rice varieties, roti, paratha.
